The Florida Highway Patrol says a woman is dead after being struck by a truck backing out of her driveway. The crash happened in east Orange County on Thanksgiving afternoon. Authorities say 64-year-old Steven Proctor was backing up his truck when he struck 65-year-old Randi Wheeler. Troopers say they believe the incident was an accident. An investigation continues.
