A person is dead after a police pursuit ended in a crash in Morgan County, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
At around 6:08 p.m., CCSO said the pursuit was initiated by Cumberland County deputies around the Mt. Roosevelt Road area. In a release, the sheriff's office said deputies tried to pull over a black Chevrolet Cobalt because of erratic driving and a suspicion the driver was under the influence.
