Cordava ,TN : Motorcyclist injured and no Children injured in Crash near the intersection of Germantown and Club Parkways on Tuesday ,March 24th 2015

school bus and a motorcycle crashed in Cordova on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Germantown and Club Parkways.

Shelby County Schools said the school bus was taking students home from Cordova Middle School. None of the children on the bus were injured.

Police said the motorcycle driver was injured. He was treated on scene and then put in an ambulance and taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

Police say they ticketed both drivers in the crash. The motorcyclist rear-ended the bus while it was making a turn, but he says the bus driver turned out in front of him and he couldn't stop in time to avoid hitting the bus.
