Salt Lake City, UT : 30-year-old man dead and two others seriously injured after a two-car crash on SR-68 in Utah County early Sunday morning, June 12, 2016

The Utah Highway Patrol says a man has died and two others were injured in a vehicle collision in Utah County.

Trooper Cameron Roden says the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Sunday on SR-68 near Goshen.

KSL-TV of Salt Lake City reports that two cars were heading southbound when one made contact with the other while trying to pass it.

The impact sent both vehicles rolling.

Roden says nobody was using a seatbelt.

One driver, 30-year-old Delfino Morales, died at the scene. His passenger, Ernesto Ramos, was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. Both are from Payson.

The other driver, 61-year-old Luis Barralaga, also of Payson, was airlifted with injuries as well.
Roden says it is not clear which vehicle was trying to pass the other.
