Chattanooga, TN : One driver killed in Bonny Oaks crash early Monday morning, February 6, 2017
Bonny Oaks Drive at the intersection of Jersey Pike was closed early this morning after one person was killed in a crash. The call came in to Chattanooga police around 2 a.m., according to police spokeswoman Elisa Myzal.
Corey Davis, 37, driving a Chevy Malibu south on Jersey Pike, struck the driver side of a Nissan Altima being driven by Michael Roberts, 47, who was traveling east on Bonny Oaks Drive. The Nissan Altima then struck a guard railing.
Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene. Davis was taken to Erlanger for non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the the Chattanooga Police Department Traffic Division are investigating the crash.
