Montgomery, AL : Pine Hill man killed in single-vehicle wreck on Monday, 6th April, 2020

A Pine Hill man was killed when his vehicle hit a tree south of Montgomery, according to state troopers.

Trooper Michael Carswell said Roy Lee Mason, 61, was killed about 1 p.m. Monday.

Mason was traveling U.S. 231 near mile marker 103, about 10 miles south of Montgomery, when his 2013 Toyota Corolla left the roadway, Carswell said. He was not wearing a seat belt, Carswell said.

Mason was pronounced dead at the scene.
