A 77-year-old Harmar man was killed Wednesday evening when his vehicle hit a barrier at the Highland Park Bridge in Pittsburgh, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
The driver, David Pierce, suffered fatal injuries in the crash, which occurred at 6:30 p.m., the medical examiner said.
The medical examiner did not reveal the cause of death.
Pittsburgh police investigated the crash, but no details were available late Wednesday night.
