LOUISVILLE, KY : 1 dead, 2 hospitalized in collision in Saint Joseph neighborhood on Sunday, 26h May 2024

One person is dead and two more are in the hospital after a collision in the Saint Joseph neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened in the intersection of Eastern Parkway and Preston Highway when a sedan northbound in the southbound lanes of Preston and entered the intersection, T-boning a pick-up truck, an LMPD spokesperson said.

The two people inside the truck were taken to UofL Hospital with critical injuries, but are expected to live. The drive of the sedan died at UofL Hospital.

LMPD’s traffic unit is investigating.
