COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : Motorcycle rider hospitalized after early morning crash on I-25 on Thursday, 11th July 2024

A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after colliding with a car at I-25 and Fillmore overnight.
The crash was reported just after 2 a.m. Thursday on the northbound side of the interstate just before the Fillmore exit. Police tell 11 News debris from the wreck was scattered over a significant distance.
Our crew at the scene says the motorcycle was underneath the car, but it’s unknown if the rider was thrown off before their bike slid under the vehicle. The motorcyclist’s condition has not been reported at the time of this writing.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
