BOSTON, MA : 1 person seriously injured when car crashes into liquor store on the corner of North Beacon Street and Arthur Street on Tuesday, 8th January 2019

One woman suffered serious injuries when a vehicle crashed into a liquor store in Allston early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at Marty’s liquor store on the corner of North Beacon Street and Arthur Street at 2:30 a.m.The vehicle traveled over a sidewalk and through a street sign and a tree before it crashed into the building. The driver was trapped inside the car after the crash, officials said.

Surveillance video from inside the store shows the force of the impact sent the checkout counter and other debris flying into the room.
