Memphis,TN : Woman killed after vehicle overturns in crash on March, Tuesday 27th 2018

An Izard County woman died after her vehicle overturned Tuesday morning.

According to a crash report by Arkansas State Police, Betty Sanders, 32, of Pineville, was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee south on State Highway 223 at around 10:45 a.m.

Sanders got about three miles north of Pineville when she failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the highway.

She then struck a rock embankment before overturning twice before landing in a ditch.

The report states it was raining and the road was wet at the time of the crash.
