Franklin, WI : Bicyclist in Franklin struck, killed by motorist on Friday evening, August 29, 2014

A 41-year-old Franklin woman was killed Friday evening while riding her bicycle on State Highway 100 and Elm Court in Franklin. According to Franklin Police, the bicyclist crossed over oncoming traffic to turn onto Elm Court shortly before 8 p.m. She was transported by ambulance to Froedtert Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police offered no other information about the woman or the driver of the vehicle that struck her.
