The accident happened at 3:20 a.m. Friday on County Road 252, a half-mile east of 87th Road,

The driver of a pickup truck died in Suwannee County early Friday when he missed a curve in the road and his pickup hit several trees and erupted in flames, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The driver’s name was not released, pending notification of relatives.

The accident happened at 3:20 a.m. on County Road 252, a half-mile east of 87th Road, the release said.

The driver died at the accident scene.
