Granby, MO : Teen died in a crash in Newton County on Sunday night, March 20, 2016

A teen died in a crash on Sunday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Mikah Graffis, 17, lost control of her car on a gravel road; the car hit a tree and caught fire. A 15-year-old passenger in the car was taken to a hospital in Joplin with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash happened on Mulberry Road, four miles south of Granby.
