Maumee, OH : 1 dies in Ohio crash on Wednesday, 4th December, 2019

A Paulding, Ohio, woman died this morning when her vehicle left a roadway, struck an embankment and several trees and came to rest on the bank of the Maumee River, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Stephanie Hull, 42, was driving east on the Defiance-Paulding county line road near Sherwood about 9:30 a.m., the highway patrol in Defiance said in a statement.

Hull died at the scene, the statement said. The crash remains under investigation.

The Defiance County and Paulding County sheriff's offices, Delaware Township Fire/EMS and the Defiance County coroner's office assisted at the scene, police said.
