Topeka, KS : Man dies after one-car accident in northwest Topeka on Friday night, December 30, 2016

A man died after his vehicle struck a concrete wall Friday night in the 3200 block of N.W. Waterworks Drive.

The man’s name won’t be released until after his family is notified, according to a news release from the Topeka Police Department.

Topeka police officers responded to the report of an accident at 10:20 p.m. Friday. They found the one-vehicle accident and an adult male, who was transported to a local hospital. The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital.
