Chickasha, OK : Alex man dies in collision near Lindsay on Wednesday, October 4, 2017

An Alex man died in a collision 1.6 miles west of Lindsay early Wednesday morning.

John Ryland Ketchum, 22, of Alex was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries sustained in the collision, according to a report from Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Ketchum's vehicle was traveling eastbound on S.H. 19. His vehicle traveled into the westbound lane and struck an oncoming vehicle. The weather was rainy and the roads were wet, however the official cause of the collision is still under investigation, according to OHP.
