DECATUR, IL : 2 juveniles injured in 2-vehicle crash at U.S. 36, Airport Road on Monday, 3rd June 2019

Two juveniles were injured Monday afternoon after two vehicles collided in the intersection of U.S. 36 and South Airport Road, according to the Decatur Fire Department.

Capt. Shain Harshbarger said first responders were called to the scene of the crash at 3:43 p.m. He said the crash involved a four-door sedan and an SUV, and the two juveniles were passengers in the back seat of the sedan. Harshbarger described their injuries as minor, and said they were both transported by ambulance to Decatur Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Neither the man driving the SUV nor the woman driving the sedan were injured, he said.
