QUINCY, IL : Fowler man cited after two-vehicle crash at 33rd and Broadway on Wednesday, 14th September 2016

A 66-year-old Fowler man was issued a failure to yield citation Wednesday after a two-vehicle crash at 33rd and Broadway.

Carl D. Elbus was traveling west on Broadway in a 2005 Ford truck when he struck a 2005 Jeep Cherokee driven by Lakisha Johnson, 39, of Quincy, who was traveling east on Broadway.

Elbus was trying to make a left turn to head south on 33rd when he collided with the Cherokee. The crash occurred at noon.

Afterward, Johnson and a passenger in her vehicle said they would seek treatment at Blessing Hospital.
