LOS FRESNOS, TX : Fatal crash claims one woman’s life on Wednesday, March 29th 2017

Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a two vehicle crash Wednesday night that left one women dead.
Laura Lee Traylor, 53 years of age, female, from Austin, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred Wednesday at approximately 10:43 p.m. on SH 100, approximately two miles east of Los Fresnos.
Preliminary investigation revealed Traylor was traveling east on SH 100 and in her 2016 Cadillac SRX alone.
A 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV was traveling west on SH 100 and occupied by only the driver.
The driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee for unknown reasons veered left into the east bound lane of travel and struck the Cadillac SRX head-on.
The driver of the Jeep was transported to Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville with non-life threatening injuries.
