Boise ,ID : Woman dies in rollover crash off I-84 on Saturday evening ,July 11th 2015

A woman died in a car accident after losing control, rolling the vehicle five times and traveling 187 feet on I-84 Saturday evening.

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle came to a rest on its roof and the woman was trapped inside. She suffered severe head trauma and died on scene.

Officials say the woman was driving from Twin Falls to Boise when she lost control of the vehicle, entered the median and then rolled five times.

One off-duty Emergency Medical Technician and an Idaho National Guard soldier pulled over and tried to help the driver until emergency responders arrived.

Elmore County deputies, Elmore Ambulance Service, Mountain Home Fire Department and Extrication responded to the incident.

No names or information about the woman has been released.
