ASOTIN COUNTY, WA : Driver killed in crash in Clarkston on Tuesday, 28h May 2024

A person was killed just after midnight Tuesday morning in Asotin County.

According to Washington State Patrol, a driver was heading north on Riverside Drive south of Clarkston at Critchfield Road.

WSP says the driver crossed into opposing lanes and hit a southbound vehicle. The driver died at the scene.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center and the extent of their injuries is unknown.

WSP says drugs and alcohol are not suspected.
