Goodland, MN : Passenger killed in a rollover crash on Hwy. 65 in Itasca County on Thursday, March 17, 2016

Authorities are holding the driver in a rollover crash that killed a passenger in northern Minnesota last week.

The State Patrol says the crash happened late Thursday on Highway 65 near Goodland.

The patrol says 56-year-old Mark Wirtjes of Bovey was killed.

The Star Tribune reports authorities suspect the driver was drunk. The 29-year-old man from Bemidji is being held in the Itasca County Jail, pending charges.

Another passenger also was hurt.
