Stead, NV : Man killed in a fiery car crash near Reno-Stead Airport on Thursday, March 31, 2016

Reno police are investigating the death of a man killed in a fiery car crash in Stead.

Police say the unidentified man was driving near Reno-Stead Airport at about 3 a.m. Thursday when he crashed into a tractor trailer parked on Industry Circle.

Emergency crews say the car was engulfed in flames when they arrived. The driver was unable to exit the vehicle and officers were unable to rescue him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details have been released. The accident remains under investigation.
