Police in Rochester say a woman faces several charges, including driving under the influence, after crashing her car and fleeing the scene. Authorities said Kristy Huppe, 37, crashed into a ditch at the intersection of Cross and Sewall roads on Sunday afternoon. By the time emergency crews arrived, Huppe was gone. A K-9 team was called to track her, but it was believed she was picked up by another vehicle. Huppe was later arrested at her East Rochester home on charges including driving under the influence, transporting an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, conduct after an accident and criminal trespassing.
