Lockport,NY : Batavia man involved in fatal accident in Lockport on Thursday, 19th April 2018

A Lockport man died after a two-vehicle accident on Stone Road at Johnson Road in Lockport on Thursday.

Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said Brian S. Ralph, 44, died after the accident at 1:08 p.m.

Deputies said a box truck driven by Brandon W. Loucks, 28, of Batavia, and Ralph’s vehicle collided head-on.

Loucks was taken to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo with serious injuries. Deputies said he is still recovering.

Deputies said an accident investigation is continuing.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Wright’s Corners Volunteer Fire Company, an ambulance from the Rapids Volunteer Fire Company, the Cambria Volunteer Fire Company, Mercy Flight, the Niagara County Hazmat Team and the City of Lockport Fire Department.
