CHILTON COUNTY, AL : Jemison man killed in I-65 semi-truck crash in Chilton County on Tuesday, 24th September 2024

A Jemison man is dead after a crash Tuesday night.

In a media release, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash happened around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday along I-65, about five miles southeast of Jemison, in Chilton County.

Investigators say 53-year-old Mark Allred was driving a semi-truck when he left the road, hit a cable barrier, and then flipped over. Allred died on the scene.
