GUILFORD, CT : 1 dead, others injured in three-vehicle Guilford crash on Thursday, 15th August 2019

One person is dead and multiple people are injured after a three-vehicle crash in Guilford on Thursday, police officials said.
Guilford Police Sgt. Christopher Massey said Guilford police and the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit continue to investigate the fatal crash. Massey said it happened just before noon.
The crash happened at the intersection of Route 80 and Hoop Pole Road.
“The crash resulted in multiple injuries, including one fatality,” Massey said. “The names of the involved parties will not be released at this time.”Anyone who witnessed the crash or who might have any information about it is asked to call Gulford police at 203-453-8061.
