TRUCKEE, CA : Eastbound I-80 closed in Sierra due to big rig crash on Thursday, 29th February 2024

Eastbound Interstate 80 has reopened in the Sierra after a big rig crash that blocked all lanes Thursday morning.

California Highway Patrol was holding traffic east of the Donner Lake interchange. CHP says the driver has minor injuries.

Northern California is bracing for a major winter storm with blizzard conditions from Thursday to Sunday morning.
