Picayune, MS : Donut Hole patron killed, car crashes into store on Thursday afternoon, September 18, 2014
A patron at the Donut Hole in Picayune died after a vehicle went through the front of the shop.
Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage tells The Sun Herald 78-year-old Joel C. Bennett, of Picayune, was taken to Highland Community Hospital, where he died.
Turnage says two other patrons were injured in the accident. He says one was airlifted to Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. The condition of that victim is unknown.
Turnage said the other victim was stable.
Police have not released any information regarding the accident or the name of the driver.
