Swainsboro, GA : Pursuit ends in crash in Oak Park on Thursday, December, 7th 2017

As a result of a law enforcement BOLO from Dublin, a stolen BMW sedan was spotted and pursued down US Highway 1 at speeds excessive of 100 miles per hour.

The chase ended at the westbound ramp to Interstate 16, where the driver crashed into the woods. Following a brief foot chase, the suspect was captured.

Swainsboro Police Department was assisted by officers from Oak Park and Stillmore, deputies with the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office, and troopers with the Georgia State Patrol.
