A Burlington Police officer was one of two people injured in a car crash Wednesday afternoon on Wilmington Road.
Police say the officer was responding to a call in his cruiser with his lights and siren on when he and another vehicle collided.
Neighbors say the other vehicle pulled out in front of the officer and the officer was unable to stop
”This is a very scary street to live on. Getting in and out of the driveway every day is a nightmare. We’re kind of used to things like this happening so I wasn’t that surprised to see a crash like this outside of my house,” Carrie Howeson said.
The officer and the driver of the other vehicle were able to get out from their cars before being taken to the Lahey Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
