Tuscaloosa,AL : Woman, 64, dies in wreck near Forest Lake on may, thursday 4th 2017

A 64-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning in a single-car accident near Tuscaloosa’s Forest Lake subdivision, according to a police spokeswoman.

Lt. Teena Richardson said the victim was driving on Hargrove Road near Grace Presbyterian Church when she left the road and struck a utility pole just after 10 a.m. Thursday. She was pronounced dead at the scene., 64, dies in wreck near Forest Lake

A 64-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning in a single-car accident near Tuscaloosa’s Forest Lake subdivision, according to a police spokeswoman.

Lt. Teena Richardson said the victim was driving on Hargrove Road near Grace Presbyterian Church when she left the road and struck a utility pole just after 10 a.m. Thursday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.


Richardson said the Tuscaloosa Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit is working to determine what caused the wreck. While they investigate, Hargrove Road has been closed between Prince Avenue and Second Avenue East.

The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of her family.
