MOAB, UT : 3 killed in head-on collision near Moab on Sunday, 14th July 2024

Three people were killed in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon outside of Moab.

A Chevrolet Suburban was heading south on state Route 191, 25 miles north of Moab, when it entered a northbound lane about 12:15 p.m.. The Chevrolet struck a motor home pulling a GMC Canyon head on, Utah Highway Patrol said.

The driver and two passengers of the Chevrolet were killed in the crash. Two additional passengers in the Chevrolet and two occupants of the motor home were taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries, UHP said. The agency said it is investigating impairment as a contributing factor in the crash.
