Alamogordo, NM : Driver crashes into Alameda Park Zoo fence on Thursday, May 12, 2016

Alamogordo Police Department officers responded to a wreck after the driver of a 1992 Jeep Cherokee crashed through the Alameda Park Zoo’s outer fence in the 1300 block of White Sands Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. APD Capt. Michael Lawrence said the driver made a left hand turn from 12th Street onto southbound White Sands Boulevard then somehow lost control of the vehicle and went onto the grass area into the fence. No one was injured in the accident.
