Center Line, MI : Bicycle hit and killed by a driver in Macomb County on Thursday, July 7, 2016

Center Line Public Safety says a man riding his bicycle was hit and killed by a driver on Federal around 3:10 pm Thursday.

The man fell off his bike, and was then dragged about 30 feet. He was pinned underneath the car.

Investigators had to prop the car up to rescue the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the Chrysler was not arrested, but was questioned at the police station.

Michigan State Police accident reconstruction investigators were on the scene for hours.
