Boise, ID : One adult and two children found dead in submerged car in Fernan Lake on Thursday, 3rd November 2016
Deputies with the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office have confirmed their dive team recovered the bodies of one adult and two small children in Fernan Lake Thursday morning.
"Kootenai County Sheriff Office Detectives are continuing their investigation and notifications are still being made to family members," the Sheriff's Office said in a release. "There is no additional information available at this time. It is anticipated that names will be released later this week."
Multiple people are dead after a car was found submerged in Fernan Lake Thursday morning.
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office says they responded to a call of a car submerged near the boat launch Thursday morning. They responded with the dive team and confirmed that a car was submerged in the lake and at least one person was dead inside. The Sheriff's Office later told KHQ there are multiple fatalities, but they would not say exactly how many.
At this time, the Sheriff's Office is trying to notify next of kin.
