SOUTH ROXANA, IL : Girl killed in South Roxana accident at the intersection of Illinois 111 and Broadway on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020

A 6-year-old Wood River girl has died following a two-vehicle accident in South Roxana Sunday night.
Madison County Coroner Steve Nonn on Monday announced that Layla A. Williford-Mason, 6, of Wood River, died in the accident at 6:06 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Illinois 111 and Broadway.
Nonn said the girl was the right rear seat passenger of a 2004 Nissan Altima driven by her father, Frank J. Williford, 28, who was traveling north on Illinois 111. The Altima collided with a full size 2002 Chevrolet pickup driven by Pavel Chernyavskiy, 29, that was going south on Illinois 111 and turning left onto eastbound Broadway.
