A man driving a lime-green three-wheel motorcycle crashed into a parked van in Queens on Saturday night and was in critical condition, officials said.
The injured man is an off-duty correction captain, according to a source familiar with the case.
The man was traveling on Springfield Blvd. near 145th Road in Springfield Gardens about 7:30 p.m. when he swerved and slammed into the back of a tan Chevy Express van, a witness at the scene said.
The motorcyclist, whose name was not released, suffered head trauma, officials said.
