LAS VEGASA, NV : A crash involving a child on a bike who was struck by a car on Tuesday, 30th January 2024

For the second day in a row, police are investigating a crash involving a child on a bike who was struck by a car. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the vehicle’s driver is suspected of impairment.

The crash was reported around 6:51 a.m. at the intersection of Cimarron and W. Desert Inn roads.

Police said the teen was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the driver was detained. Eastbound Desert Inn and northbound Cimarron were closed to traffic while police investigated the crash.
