Pedestrian struck and killed at Cimarron and Sahara

A vehicle struck and killed a 33-year-old woman walking outside a marked crosswalk Sunday in west Las Vegas.Metro Police responded to the crash about 5:15 p.m. at Cimarron Road and Laredo Street, near Sahara Avenue.The woman was crossing Cimarron Road when a Honda sedan traveling north on Cimarron struck her, police said.She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately released.Metro was investigating the incident.
