Benton, AR : A 23 years old Ty Jackson died after being struck by a vehicle at Arkansas 5 On Wednesday, July 13th, 2016

Ty Jackson, 23, was walking westbound on Arkansas 5 when he was struck by a vehicle traveling the same direction. Jackson was taken via helicopter to Baptist Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries, said

Sgt. Todd Crowson, spokesperson for the Bryant Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle whose name is not being released did not leave the scene of the accident, he said.

No charges have been filed at this time in connection with the incident.

The Bryant Police Department is still investigating the incident.
