Janesville, WI : Two injured in dual motorcycle crash on Sunday morning, November 6, 2016

Two motorcyclists were injured in a crash late Sunday morning.

The crash happened at 11:51 a.m. near the intersection of Newville Road and Highway 14, a Rock County Communications Center supervisor said.

Both were taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville with unknown injuries, a Janesville Fire Department shift commander said.

It's unclear how the crash occurred or who was at fault. The motorcyclists could have been riding next to each other and collided, the shift commander said.

The Gazette was unable to reach authorities to learn the victims' identities and status Sunday night.

The Janesville Police Department and fire department responded to the crash.
