Cazenovia, N.Y : One person dead in snowmobile crash in Madison County on Friday, February 17, 2017

Authorities responded to a fatal snowmobile crash Friday in Madison County that involved several people.

Madison County 911 said the accident was reported about 3:45 p.m. on a snowmobile trail off Ballina Road and Stone Quarry Road in the town of Cazenovia.

State troopers responded to the scene as well as firefighters from Cazenovia, Eaton and Morrisville. Cabac Ambulance also responded. Trooper Jack Keller, a state police spokesman, said the head-on crash occurred about 500 feet east of Stone Quarry Road.
