LAKELAND, FL : 2 dead after 2-vehicle crash on State Road 542 in East Lakeland on Wednesday, 14th August 2019

Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on State Road 542 in East Lakeland.
Delbert Kendall, 64, of Polk City, was driving a blue Ford Focus eastbound on SR 542/East Main Street when, for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and entered the path of a tan Subaru Forester being driven in the westbound lane by Case Hurst, 40, of Winter Haven, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision happened just east of Reynolds Road, the sheriff’s office said.
