Montgomery County ,TX :9-month-old boy killed and two others hospitalized after sport utility vehicle collided with 18-wheeler truck on Monday afternoon ,August 3rd 2015

A crash that claimed the life of a small child and sent his mother and older brother to the hospital Monday will be referred to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office for any possible charges.
The 9-month-old boy was in the back seat of a sport utility vehicle that collided with an 18-wheeler truck about 1 p.m. Monday on Texas 249 near Lazy Wood, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The truck was parked on the road. DPS troopers said the driver stopped to make some kind of delivery at that spot. The child's mother tried to swerve away but struck part of the trailer with the SUV.
The 9-month-old was killed. His mother and 3-year-old brother were taken to an area hospital, where their conditions weren't known later Monday.
DPS troopers have not officially identified the child.
