Fort Wayne, IN :U-turn triggers I-69 crash on Wednesday, July 8th 2015

Police and emergency crews were at the scene of an accident involving at least two vehicles Wednesday afternoon in the southbound lanes of I-69 at the 319 mile marker in Allen County about three miles south of the DeKalb County line. Traffic had been diverted to the left lane for a time, causing traffic to backup.According to witnesses, at around 3:30 p.m. one of the vehicles was traveling in the far left passing lane when the vehicle in front slowed down to make a U-turn. The driver abruptly changed lanes to avoid a collision and ended up hitting another vehicle, which forced it off the right side of the road.No serious injuries are reported.
