Geddes, NY : One person injured rollover crash on State Fair Blvd in Geddes on Thursday night, April 21, 2016

One person was injured in a crash Thursday night and had to be cut from their vehicle by firefighters.
Around 10 p.m. Solvay and Lakeside firefighters responded to a crash on State Fair Boulevard near Pump House Road in the town of Geddes. Initial reports were that a vehicle had rolled over several times and the driver was trapped, the Solvay Fire Department said.

Crews arrived and began using jacks and cribbing to stabilize the vehicle.

After the vehicle was stabilized firefighters began treating the victim and cutting the roof of the car off. The driver was cut out of the car in less than 10 minutes and taken to the hospital, the fire department said.

The driver's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
