Dane County, WI : Man killed in Dane County single-vehicle crash Saturday on July 5, 2014

A man killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dane County was identified by the county's medical examiner's office Monday as Joseph A. Stehura, 27, of Madison.

The crash was reported shortly after 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of State Highway 92 in the Town of Primrose, according to a news release from the office.

The 2005 Ford Ranger driven by Stehura was southbound on Highway 92 when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

The vehicle then left the roadway, rolled over and entered a creek area of a farm field about 50 feet away.

Stehura was not wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle's air bags had not deployed, according to the release.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
