Bayfield County, WI : 1 seriously hurt, 1 arrested in Bayfield County crash on Sunday, 26th August 2018

One person was airlifted to a Duluth hospital and another was arrested following a Sunday morning crash in Bayfield County.

Authorities said the incident was reported at 11:50 a.m. on County Highway M in the Town of Namakagon in the southeastern portion of the county.Georgia Teague, 50, of Ashland, was driving west when she turned left into oncoming traffic at a driveway entrance and was struck by a vehicle operated by a 34-year-old Fairbanks, Alaska, man, according to the Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office.

Teague’s passenger, Barbara Teague, suffered “significant injury” and was taken to Hayward Area Memorial Hospital before being flown to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.
